
The Chamber of Food Industries held the regular meeting of the Sugar, Confectionary, and Chocolate Division, headed by Mr. Hassan Al-Fendi, Head of the Division, where the factories’ needs for raw sugar, challenges and opportunities were discussed in the presence of a number of candy and chocolate factories, members of the Chamber. Mr. Hassan Al-Fendi explained that the Chamber is inventorying the raw sugar needs of confectionary and chocolate factories until the end of February 2025, and is addressing the Ministry of Supply to ensure that the volume of needs is secured until the next season through sugar-producing companies.
