Technical Committees
As the voice of the Food industries; CFI works closely with all Ministries, Authorities and Bodies concerned with food industries to ensure the sector’s representation in each committee that works on issuing laws, legislations and decisions that affect the industry and support the sector and its competitiveness.
CFI is represented in:
- National Food Safety Authority
- Egyptian General Authority for Standardization and Quality
- The General Organization for Export and Import Control
- Trade Agreements Sector - Ministry of Trade and Industry
- Customs and Tax Committee of the Federation of Egyptian Industries
- Ministries, relevant authorities and bodies
- All the committees specialized in the Federation of Egyptian Industries (African cooperation, labor relations, women, ... etc.)
- Industry Committee in the Egyptian Parliament
- Egyptian Codex Committee
- The General Committee for Standard Specifications
- Committee to regulate the free circulation of sugar at the Ministry of Trade and Industry
- Food Commodity Assets Committee of the General Authority for Export and Import Control
- Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade
